Technology should only augment your pre-existing intervention or workflow, but it shouldn’t be the intervention itself…

Sentiacare applications focus on timely identification of high-risk pregnancies prior to, during and post parturition.

Sentiacare solutions are simple, safe, reliable, secure, protocol-based & scalable focusing on building a strong framework of technology infrastructure that supports the existing rural / urban health infrastructure.

The story behind

Over the last few decades, India has achieved remarkable economic growth but that has not had the expected impact on its Maternal Mortality Rate & Infant Mortality Rate, which continues to be high in comparison to its development. This is a matter of intense concern! Among the 800 women who die globally every day from preventable causes related to pregnancy & childbirth, nearly 20% are from India and within India, women living in rural communities are the most at risk of health complications. So, what can we do?

With specialists being very few in number in the rural sector and a significant load on the available Government facilities, it was time for a marked intervention in the way things were being perceived and executed in the field.

Working on these challenges and speculations, Blue Crimson (Partner firm of Sentiacare) and Dr.Latha Venkataram (Highly accomplished expert OBGYN in Karnataka) teamed up to discuss, derive and evolve a simple yet comprehensive mobile-based technology solution that will have a far reaching positive impact on the health sector, paving the way for safer deliveries. One of our most successful implementations in this field to positively reduce MMR & IMR is the Sentiagraph™, an intelligent ePartograph on a tablet.

The Sentiacare Brand Story

With a mission to establish a simple, reliable, integrated approach to enhanced Maternal, Neonatal & Infant Healthcare, the Sentiacare visual identity has been derived to communicate the cause better and with more clarity. The logo is an expression of what Sentiacare stands for - “Sentia” is derived from Latin origins and in Roman mythology, “Sentia” is the Goddess of child development. Collectively it represents care for the Mother and Child. The logo colour schema represents the brand promise subtly and effectively. The simple yet strong tagline “powered by service” emphasises further on the mission of Sentiacare - to serve the society and have a far-reaching positive impact on the health sector.
